Leeds Castle Concert 2025

First, the weather this year was in stark contrast to last year which such a deluge of rain. This year, the bright sunshine with barely any clouds in the sky meant stunning weather throughout the whole concert

This year's main warm-up act was the London International Gospel Choir, they were great but their sound levels were really loud which made us wish we had sat further back.
The main act, as always, was the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Dr John Rigby. This is the second event we have been too and each time the RPO have been exceptional. Also back from 2024 was Jesús León, a Tenor whose rendition of Nessun dorma is exceptional. Additional guests were Tim Hower (Mike + The Mechanics) as well as Elisa Paul Moses, whose rendition of Defying Gravity was amazing.
The second half of the concert had the Spitfire flypast. It's an awesome sight to behold and watching the acrobatics in the sky whilst the orchestra plays really sets the stage for the last part of the show.

The Final hour as the sun sets is amazing. The final 3 songs of the RPO was accompanied by Cannons and fireworks. The great gates of Kiev and Jupiter from the planets were especially amazing to hear live with the fireworks
The encore was Live Aid themed as its the 40th anniversary of the concerts. All the acts came back on stage and led the crowd in renditions of some of the songs including We Are The Champions.
The event was amazing and well worth going to. Be warned, it's a 25 minute walk from the car-park so lots of people bring trolleys with them to help carry a;; the food, drinks, chairs and tables.
